Refurbished means very different things to different sellers. A laptop, a handset, a tablet and a watch all go through the same five stages here, and none of them is listed until every stage is signed off.

01 Inspected
Opened up, cleaned properly and assessed against our grading standard.
02 Data destroyed
The previous owner’s data is destroyed to the standard banks use. Accounts unlinked, locks cleared, nothing recoverable.
03 Restored
Clean operating system, current updates, genuine parts where anything needs replacing.
04 Tested
Screen, battery, cameras, speakers, wireless, sensors, every port and every button.
05 Graded
Cosmetic condition described precisely and photographed. What you see is what arrives.
